Religious Education

Hello St Ann Catholic Community, 

Our Faith Community combines with St Anthony Parish to conduct Religious Education. Classes are every Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm in the St Anthony Parish Center. They are from the first week of October through the last week in April. 

There are a variety of classes offered. A family style class for people of all ages includes walks through the church learning about the different symbols and customs of our faith. There are many classes about what the kiddos are curious about. It is a fun welcoming learning environment. There are sacramental preparation classes as well to include First Communion and Confirmation. After confirmation youth and adults too are invited to Apologetics. A class that teaches how to defend the faith. We also have a Bible study and this year it is eight weeks and discusses women and Catholic motherhood. About twice a month the older children not in sacramental prep have the option to join a youth group centered around community service. Lastly, there are classes (OCIA) for those who want to enter the Catholic Church. 

Classes run from about 6:00 to 7:00. At 7 we all gather together and share a meal. The kids play together and the adults gather and build relationships with family and friends.
